Toby Rosing, Artist

Biography

Toby Rosing began her artistic career almost by accident in the 1970s. A good friend, and artist, asked Toby to accompany her on an art trip to China and Toby agreed to go, not realizing it would be the beginning of a life-long love affair with art. Today, Toby is most known for her soft natural watercolors and her bronze-skin sculptures.

Toby's work is a discovery of the world around her. She enjoys building up layers of paint and watching the flow of colors come together to form a realistic or abstract image. Her goal is always to create a connection with the viewer through the images she creates.

Her work is in many private collections and can be viewed at the Urban Arts Collective in Chamblee, Georgia, where she maintains an active working studio.
